1. A separate request for Critical Alerts has been added to the notification permission flow. It appears after users allow standard notifications, asking for permission to deliver warning alerts

No major change for Citizen this period

1. The first paywall received several small UI and copy updates: the forced line break in the offer text was removed, the Supplemental Terms link was dropped, and the Skip button was restyled
2. After closing the paywall, users now land on the map tab by default instead of the news feed, putting nearby incidents and location-based activity at the center of the first post-paywall experience
3. The supporting text under the Go Live button now changes dynamically, using different prompts to encourage users to start a live broadcast

1. The bottom tab bar has been redesigned, including changes to its visual style and the order of tabs; the Go Live tab received a different look.
2. The Go Live screen has been redesigned. The updated version puts more focus on reporting an incident in real time, with a prominent Go Live control and a separate “Submit an Incident” action

No major change for Citizen this period

1. Updated the benefit list on the paywall. The list now includes six items instead of five: “Search faster with map filters” was added, and the item about searching registered offenders was renamed to “Identify registered offenders near you”
2. Removed the paywall slide focused on custom alerts. It was replaced with a new slide about faster incident discovery through map filters, shifting the message from notification setup to search and exploration
3. Updated the alerts setup screen again. Instead of showing a feed with an upgrade banner, the screen now asks users to choose between default alerts and only nearby incidents, making alert personalization more direct

1. Citizen lowered both visible subscription prices on the paywall. The yearly plan changed from $59.99/year ($4.99/month) to $39.99/year ($3.33/month), and the monthly plan changed from $8.99/month to $5.99/month
2. The default payment flow now leads to Stripe: the primary CTA is the blue Subscribe button, while Apple payment is presented as a secondary text button at the bottom. This shifts Apple Pay from an accent action to a fallback payment option
3. The screen section related to alerts was updated, providing a feed together with an upgrade banner

1. Removed the "Your number is safe with us" privacy reassurance text from the registration screen. The rest of the registration flow remains unchanged
2. Increased subscription prices on the main in-app paywall. The annual plan increased from $39.99 to $59.99/year, while the monthly plan increased from $5.99 to $8.99/month. The paywall layout and plan selection remain largely unchanged
3. Added web checkout as a payment option alongside native App Store purchases. The main "Subscribe" CTA now leads to an external Stripe checkout, while App Store billing is available through a separate "Subscribe with Apple" button
